FAQ
Great improvement on sliver! Will I get a better yarn?
Yes and No! The card is only the first important step in a spinning mill. Our target is to provide an excellent sliver, in terms of count (CV1mt) and thick places, but is your job to produce a quality yarn. Any new card has a built-in, more or less good autoleveller, but this doesn’t mean that your yarn will improve if you buy a new card! The purpose of card autoleveller should be for something else!
On which spinning process can get the best results?
On any “short” spinning process, for example Open-End or Ring with 1 or 2 passage of autolevelled drawframe with latest T&G technology. Some examples:
– Card > OE (For example: recycling fiber process)
– Card > Drawframe > OE/Ring
– Card > Drawframe > Drawframe > OE/Ring
– Card > Drawframe > Drawframe > Drawframe > OE/Ring
Additionally, THICK PLACES monitoring will give you a great advantage by stopping the machine when card start to produce them. Can you imagine how many cans without thick places can you save!
What about combed process?
Generally there is no drastic improvement on yarn, but don’t forget that improvement, with this autoleveller, are visible on card-efficiency, drawframe efficiency and combing waste efficiency. Additionally, THICK PLACES monitoring will give you a great advantage by stopping the machine when card start to produce them. Can you imagine how many cans without thick places can you save!
Where is the difference between your and other card autolevellers?
Our technology is giving really great results because is very short term autoleveller and is patented. The other autolevellers, even if claimed short term, most probably they are only medium-long. We are measuring first and autolevelling then, exactly as a drawframe does! Moreover, the unique built-in THICK PLACES monitoring is an add value that compared to other autolevelling + monitoring systems, is really cheap!
In my case your autoleveller is still too expensive! Do you have other solutions?
Yes of course. We can provide you a long term autoleveller with built-in THICK PLACES monitoring. This is still a good solution, but remember that long term means to keep the count of the past minute and nothing else! Vice versa, the built-in THICK PLACES monitoring in this case is really unique and cost effective!
